EVANS, CALEB. B-106 Of Norwich twp.; Dated December 23, 1839; prob. June 23, 1841.
Mentions; wife (not named), son Jacob, dau. Elizabeth, dau. Polly, dau. Martha, son Peter, son David, son George, son Abel, son Alexander (last five sons have had their share); executor Isaac Davidson; wit: William S. Bowling (also Boaling and Boling) and David D. Lattimer.
Note; Buried in an old abandoned cemetery in Norwich twsp. we find the following inscriptions on markers;
"Caleb Evans died Apr. 10, 1841, aged 75 years."
"Eva C., wife of Caleb Evans, died Nov. 9, 1847, aged 81 yrs."
