I have been researching the William Boling family of Habersham Co., GA. thru LDS Library and other sources for several yrs now. I have come up with the following: Wm Bolling Sr. born NC circa 1775 died GA 1829 married Nancy born NC circa 1776 died after 1860. Children: Merrell b 1800 NC married Sarah; William, Jr b 1804 NC married Mary born S.C 1808 d 1853; Willaby b 1807 GA married Temperance Jordan; Nancy, Stephen and Waney are possibly other children that I have no info on. Wm, Sr died in 1829 with administrators of his will as Absolam Holcomb and Wm Boling ,Jr. in Habersham Co., GA. Nancy then lived with Willaby and Temperance. A Wm Boling marries Mary Davidson in 1829. My gggrandfather was Wm Boling, wife, Mary. I don't know if this is the same one but the dates fit. Then a Wm Boling appears in Cherokee Co, GA records in 1836 as serving on the Superior Court as Grand Juror and in the Census records of 1850. His children begin being born by 1831. One of his children was Nancy b 1837. Maybe you can help me in finding if Wm. Sr is part of the family I'm researching. Thank you.
