Various NC/VA BOLINGS ?
Posted by: sharon Date: April 03, 1999 at 05:17:24

Seeking any info on the following newly-discovered Bolings:

Brothers - WILLIS and SYLVESTER Boling of Seagrove, NC (Kings Creek) b. ca 1873 - 1875. Willis married Josephine ? ; had at least one daughter named Hazel. Sylvester was murdered at turpentine camp in Louisianna. Need any info on either.

These brothers were sons of ALFRED Boling b. 1837; he served in NC Conf. Army.

Alfred was the son of CHARLES HILLARY Bolling/Boling b. 1799; married a Mary/Polly Graves (she was the daughter of Leo Graves).

Charles Hillary Bolling/Boling was the son of CHARLES H. Boling b. 1763-64 in VA; served as a constable, possibly in Randolph Co., NC.

Charles H. was the son of WILLIAM Bolling/Boling.

William Bolling/Boling was the son of JOHN Bolling/Boling; possibly in Montgomery Co/Anson Co., NC.

The above info is new to me; spelling of Boling varies, and dates are approximate. Can anyone verify the above info? Connections?

Thanking you for your time, help, and suggestions,
Sharon
