As I have said, I have come across research records that I have had for 20 years and were displaced. Nearly all of these records are hand transcribed by me with the sources, reel numbers, and much more information. I am hoping to find a way to upload them whether they are in image [.gif form] or as documents. Otherwise, I will have to find another way to transcribe them for the forum here. Many of these documents answer hundreds, maybe thousands of questions that I have seen on the genforum. Many times I have seen inquiries about names that I remember having read in these documents. Until now I have not been prepared to make them available. By the way, about the question as to where that French book is, Memoirs of the Bolling Family, written in French, I do know where the original is, however, I am certainly not going to post an historic original on the world's most notoriusly unsafe archive, the Internet; sorry Internet guys, maybe in 20 or so years it will be safe, but certainly not until "Cookies," "Java," "Javascript," and all other programs that are open doors for viruses, computer breaking and entering, and other forms of electronic snooping, including personal browsing habits which are not legally attainable without a person's permission. These things are no more attainable without the express written permission of the owner, the person and his or her computer, than a movie script, a song, or a novel which are all real property and the unauthorized copying of them, especially from their home computer, is a felony under the "Electronic Breaking and Entering Act." That's the same Act and law from the U.S. Congress that sent the teenager in California to jail for breaking into the Pentagon Computer. Our computers are protected by that same law. That's my opinion, and the opinion of the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Now that I've stated what a "Real" privacy statement is, onto trying to get this information onto the genforum. Tj And don't sell my email address; that too is a copyright law infringement, as it is specifically assigned to my record company as a licensed copyrighted property. My record company sues people who try to profit from selling what they own. Notify Administrator about this message?
