Jim, I might as well jump into this foray! I have a Priscilla Boling (not sure this is the exact spelling) but they called her Ciller (Siller). I cannot find any parents, only 1 census, etc. etc. on her even after she married George Wm. Miller. She was born June 1837 in Perry Co. KY m. Miller abt. 1854 in Perry Co. KY even though I can find no marriage record on them. This is an interesting story if nothing else but passed down by my family members. She and Miller separated, she had two daughters by a man named Ned Gay but they grew up with the Miller name. They were Rena and Mahala born sometime in the 1860's most likely and also most likely around Estill Co. KY. I can find Rena who married Lewis Brandenburg Dec 1900, and her family, but not Mahala.
The only time I can find Priscilla Boling she is living with her son Evan Whitley Miller listed in the Sturgeon District of the 1900 Lee County KY Census living with him and wife Mary and their children. She was listed as mother, born June 1837, mother of 11 children with 9 living, 62 years old and born KY(?) name of Gilbert. I knew she and George Wm. Miller had divorced and family lore said she married a Gilbert but I cannot find any record of them.
She and George had 3 children, she and Ned Gay had 2, so she probably had 6 children by Gilbert but I don't know that for sure.
Does anyone have any information to offer concerning this saga? If so I will continue to share what I have. Thanks
