Martha, Don't know about your William Boling, but I have a Willoughby Bolin on the 1800 census for Montgomery Co., NC. Actually he's called Willaba. He seems to disappear 1810 & I've wondered if he might have gone to Georgia. 1820 he's in Lincoln Co., Tn., 1830 Marion Co., Ala., 1840 Stoddard Co., Mo. & 1850 Mortality Schedule for Moniteau Co., Mo. Only he knows where else he may have been. He was born 1775-1785 in SC. Maybe there's a connection between our 2 Bolings.
