Great-Great Grandfather (my moms mothers side)Hiram Green Boling born 1839, Was in Civil War and was arrested 3 times and put in prison in Chicago during the war when he was finally let go he walked to Arkansas where he married and died.
Thomas Boling Jr. Born in the 1780's 4th removed grandfather. But we can't get any further back from him, info between the two are needed.
My grandmother said that her father born in the 1860's a Boling was full blood Indian, possibly Cherakee? And her mother was Scot/Irish. He purchased her for $2000 from her family, sort of like a dowery, Greatgrandfather Boling was thought also to be Welsh/Cherakee,
We understand that Bolings came over with the mayflower but need help on putting picture together any help would be wonderful..:o)
