Bolinski to BOLIN

I am trying to locate any information on my BOLIN and BOLINSKI ancestors. My grandfather, Anthony Francis Bolinski, b. 4/12/1891, Tamaqua, Mahanoy Plaine,Schuykill County, PA. d. 10/11/1947. m. Edna Josephine Treloar 1/9/20 in Biloxi, MS. Anthony had at least six brothers; Victor, Alex, Luke, George, Joseph and Edward, all served in the US Army durning WWI. George was killed in France during WWI, while Edward died in 1940. A newspaper article from 1942 lists Alec living in Glen Lyon, PA. and Luke in Tamaqua, PA. Both Alec and Joseph changed their last names to BOLIN during WW I, possibly to confuse German troops??. Bolinskis were supposed to have immigrated from Lithuania in late 1800's where their name may have been BALUNAS. Must be a very interesting story.

Anthony Francis Bolinski and Edna Josephine Treloar had two children; Anthony Frances Bolinski, Jr.(now BOLIN) b. 5/26/1924, and Marian Francis Bolinski, b. 2/9/1921.

Any help would be appreciated.
