Susan Clay Bolin and her Brother John

I am looking for info on the parents of Susan Clay Bolin. She was bron circa 1855-60 possibly in NC or TN. By 1880 she had married Columbus Barnet WINSTEAD and was residing in Weakley County TN. Supposedly she had a brother John, who family rumor says in the early part of the 20th century burned down the town of Martin TN. He was a merchant and as business was poor he opted to burn down his establishment. The wind, alas, was not with him and he torch the entire downtown area.

Can anyone help me locate their parents?
I think John had a son named Jeter BOLIN who married Caroline CARNEY. They had a son named Lynn.

Also there is a question of whether the named BOLIN derived from BOLLING as there was an aunt Poky way back when mentioned.

Any help would be appreciated.
