I too am hunting the Bolins of Montgomery County, NC. I have the following Bolins who moved from that area to Owen, Clay Cos., IN:
William BOLIN bc 1770 NC m. unknown, had children: Benajah, Noah, Charles, Harbard, William, Sally, Olive. Left a will about 1844 naming them.Was in Owen Co, IN pre 1830
Another William BOLIN, bc 1800, mother may have been Celia BOLIN bc 1770 NC, m. Nancy Pressley bc 1808 NC, in Clay Co IN by 1830.
Other Bolins in area: Isaac, Mark, Eli, Elijah, Shubal, Harmon, Branson,and more.
Anyone recognize these names? Have much info on Bolins from NC to IN., may have stopped other places. Recognize them?
