In the book "A History of the Salley Family 1690-1965" by Olin J. Salley there is some info on the BOLIN family gotten from Frank BOLIN. It is written that Edward BOLIN, born about 1740 and died about 1800, came from Ireland around 1775. The info in this book has Edward Bolin in the Rev. War and his grave is marked with U.S. gravestone furnished for old soldiers. I have not proved this info.
