There are no dates on the tombstone. Just Edw'd BOLIN - VA Mil. Rev. War. I have not been able to prove that this Edward is the same as the Edward BOWLING in VA. However there is listed an Edward BOWLING in the Orangeburgh Militia as being in the same Reg. of John, Henry,Martin SR. & JR. SALLEY. This was in the book by Murtie June Clark called "Loyalists in the Southern Campaign of the Revolutionary War".Time frame 1780-1781.
