Hi there, saw your post on genforum from way back. Looking for some answers. my g g g g grandfather was John E Bolin, half brother of Colonel Felps. I am desperate here! haha, I just can't get anyone to answer me. Colonel Felps' father was Calvin, correct? John Henry was dead by 1862, killed by bushwackers. Everyone seems to think that Colonel's father was Henry. I'm not so sure of this. Please, I am willing to share anything I have with you! I am just looking for some answers. I have been searching non stop for the 1860 census on John Henry and Elizabeth Ann Bolin and I have also been searching for the parents of Calvin and John Henry. I have been told by family that their mother died in 1838 on the Trail of Tears but have yet to prove that true. Thanks! Jordan Bolin
