Seeking a male descendant of Christopher Bolin with the Bolin surname (or one of the variations) to participate in the Bolling family DNA project. So far in the study, we have no representative from this family. Christopher was b. 1787 in Hawkins, TN and died in Morgan Co., IN. 1876. He may have been the son of William Bolin, who was known to have been in Hawkins, TN in the late 1700's.
Christopher Bolin and Nancy Baker were married in 1808 in Clay Co., KY. They had the following children:

An unknown son b. 1815-1820
Farabee Bolin b. abt 1817, m. Hawkins Bales

Christopher Bolin Jr b. 1822 & d. 1863, m. Elizabeth Amanda Guy
Susannah "Susie" Bolin b.1824, m. David Trowbridge Neal
Balaam Bolin b. 1829, m. Anna Goodwin
Jesse Bolin b. 1825-1830, died young
Lucinda Baker Bolin b. 1831, m. Andrew Jackson Bales (my ancestors)
Stephen Bolin b. 1832, m. Ellen Lollar.
