William Jesse Bolin/Bowling, born 1841 in TN is the son of James Rudolph Bowling b. 1822, NC and the grandson of Jesse Bowling & Jemima Kennedy.
I am looking for information on his first wife. I do not know her name. They had three children: John A. Bolin/Bowling b 1864, James T. Bolin b. 1867 & Carrie Bolin b. 1874. He married Susan E. Moss 9/26/1880.
James T. Bolin is in my line and I was wanting to know if anyone knew who is mother would be.
St. Joe General Baptist Church was organized on Friday 7/19/1873 by Elder Joseph Weathers and Jesse W. Bolin (MY William Jesse Bolin's uncle). The charter members listed for St. Joe's include two members that caught my eye: William J. Bolin and listed right under him was Larcena F. Bolin.
Does anyone know if these two were married? If so, when? If this is MY William Jesse Bolin, then Larcena F. Bolin might have been his wife. Does anyone have a record of them? William Jesse Bolin would have married his wife sometime before the birth of his first child in 1864. Their third child, Carrie, was born in 1874 and William Jesse Bolin remarried in 1880. So, I am looking for a marriage date between 1861 & 1864 and a death date for his wife between 1874 and 1880.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
