Charles Leear Bolger was born June 1840, Islington. Date of arrival in Australia unknown, possibly arrived after his marriage to Mary Davis in 1865. In the 1870s he ran a Draper's shop in Yarraville (inner suburb of Melbourne). Children: Florence Marian Bolger, born 1871 Victoria; Charles Henry Leear Bolger, born 1873 Victoria; Alfred George Leear Bolger, born 1874, Victoria, and Maud Ethel Leear Bolger, born 1876, Victoria, Australia. Charles had considerable ill health and returned to London on the 'Durham' arriving October 1875. Our histories vary somewhat after his return. Contact me and we can discuss further. Charles, by the way, was the brother of my great grandfather, Frank Leear Bolger.
I have looked at all the other postings for 'Bolgers in Australia 1850+', and sorry, can be of no help there.
