Hi Veronica
My wifes maiden name was Bolger and she
comes from Boston. I have been doing her
family as well as mine so I am constantly
checking the genforum
I came across a Raymond Bolger on the
social security death index that would fit
the age of your father. The index can be
accessed by entering the following address:
www.ancestry.com/ssdi/advanced.htm
The basic search for Raymond Bolger with
any state selected shows Raymond Bolger for
Secaucus, NJ which is in Hudson County. He
was born Sept. 24, 1918 and died Nov. 8, 1987
in Secaucus, NJ 07087. His social security
number was 141-10-3819.
Secaucus, NJ is 101 miles from Sharon Hill, Pa so this could be the Raymond Bolger that you are looking for.
The Social Security Administration will
provide a copy of the form ss-5 which is the
"Application for Social Security Number" to
you for a fee. The cost with the social
security number is $7.00 and $16.50 without
the number. A form letter is available to
you when you look up the name on the index.
The persons application will provide the
following information to you.

1 Full Name 6 fathers name
2 Mailing address 7 mothers name
3 age at last birthday 8 mothers maiden
4 date of birth 9 employer
5 place of birth 10 date & signature

This informtion is available to you
because of the Freedom Of Information Act of
1967 (FOIA).
The Mailing address which is on the form
letter is:
Social Security Administration
Office of Central Records Operations
FOIA Workgroup
P.O. Box 17772
Baltimore, MD 21290

Good Luck
