"The information I have came from letters I received in the 1960's from Albert L. Boley (Son of Enoch Boley) and Maude Dodd (daughter of Steven Douglas Boley).
William Boley, b 12 July 1826 d 27 Feb. 1891
m Mary Bradford b. 5 Mar 1827 d 13 Jan 1900
They had 10 children:
James N., b 8 oct 1850
Susan C., b 23 Feb 1855 (married a Jackson)
Amanda J., b6 May 1857
Emma, b 11 Feb. 1859
Ella, b 11 Feb. 1859; d 27 Oct 1895; m J. M.
Smalley on 16 Jan 1884 in Nevada, Mo.
Steven Douglas, b 28 Dec. 1889, d 1935 near
Delaware, Ok. m Susan Reed on 28 Dec 1889 in Coffeyville, Ks.
Samuel, b 22 Oct. 1862
Mary Adeline (my line) b 2 Apr 1864, d 13 Dec
1911; m Alvin Asher
Benjamin F., b 26 Mar 1866; d 14 Feb. 1894
Enoch, b 22 Nov 1869; d oct 1942 in Delaware,
Ok., m Mary Thornbraugh on 16 Jan 1895.
This family was in Gentry Co., Mo. on the 1870 census with one difference. Where I have Steven Douglas it lists Wm. D. All the children except Enoch were born in Tenn. Enoch was born in Mo."
Mary Bradford, wife of William Boley, was my great-great-grandfather's sister. I'd love to exchange information with you!
