On 15 Sep 1749 Mattheis Bolland was among 380 Palantines on ship Edenburgh from Rotterdam, last from Portsmouth. This same man took oath of allegiance in Philadelphia 15 Oct 1749. He was also listed in various documents as Madheis Bolland and Matheiss Bollinger of "Bossenbach" with wife and two children in 1752.
Could this be the Bolen in Orangeburg, SC.
