Searching for any information on a William May Bolen(Bowlen), b. Mar 1850, S.C., d. 18 Mar 1913, Etowah Co., AL. Married to Ruthie Dillard 31 July 1869. Need anything and everything anyone may have. I don't know his parents or any of his siblings. His monument has his name spelled "Bowlen" and that is how my family has continued to spell the name. There is a strong possibility that he changed spelling and it should be "Bolen".
