Thank you James for your reply, I know about the John Rolfe part, I have that whole line, but some people just won't listen. My problem is trying to connect THAT line to the James Bolen line that I amd from. In the Pocahontas line I can get all the way down to William and Benjamin, about the mid 1700's, but I can't jump from there to my James Bolen in 1790 to early 1800's. That is the era that is missing say between 1750 and 1800. IF and I'm saying if they are connected then there is either one or two generations missing. right smack in the middle. And as of now, I can't find any connection to the state of Tennessee. Mine are mostly from Northern VA, Southern OH, and Western WV. Kird of a large circle or lack of a better term.
