An index to 1820 census of Culpeper county,
VA has Nathaniel Bolen as Bowhen, which should have read Bowlin. His household is listed as follows:
three males under ten years of age
one male ten under sixteen years of age
one male twenty-six to forty-five (Nathaniel
one female ten under sixteen
one female twenty-six to 45 (Nancy his wife)
one male slave under fourteen.
Have all the names of the children, plus the
dates of birth and death for Nath. and Nancy,
plus a long list of descendants. Will ex-
change data to anyone related or descended
from same, if you'll share.
Who were Nathaniel's parents? The 1820
census of Culpeper also has listed these other Bolens, viz: William Bowlin, Betsey
Bolin, Jesse Bolin, and Levi Bowling.
