Just e-mailed you but the message was returned. My husband is a direct descendant of Edward Bolen through his son Edward and Mary S. Bonnette, their daughter Margaret L. Bolen who married William W. Rutland (my husband's paternal greatgrandparents.) Margaret L. Bolen and William Rutland's daughter, Julia Elizabeth Rutland married William David Hughes, and their son John Clarence Hughes was my father-in-law.
William W. Rutland also had Bolin ancestors. The parents of his mother, Martha Judy were John Thomas Judy, Sr. and Nancy Bolin. Nancy Bolin Judy was the daughter of Edward S. Bolin and Ann Elizabeth "Nancy" Salley
Therefore, William W. Rutland and Margaret Bolen were related through the Bolen line--Maragetsgrandparents were William W. Rutland's Greatgrandparents.
Any help you can give us on any of the family lines would be appreciated. The source of my Bolen family information earlier than Margaret L. Bolen and William W. Rutland is from internet findings. Thanks, Carole Hughes
