Looking for info on this family. Friedrich Boldt and his mother Dorothea (maiden name unknown) Boldt emmigrated from Mecklenburg (Germany) to New York City in 1868. There were two Frederich Boldt's listed only a few blocks from one another in 1871 NYC. One is the person here and the other could be his father?
Their is a Gruschow (Grüschow)(my family) / Boldt family plot in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York and I should somehow be related to Dorothea ??? Boldt. My Grüschow family came from Rambow (near the Müritz Lake) in Mecklenburg-Schwerin but came to the U.S. in 1854.
