Reinhold Boldt was my great grandfather's brother.

Henry Boldt was married to Charlotte Burow (according to their daughter's marriage record.)

Their children were:

Herman Boldt born 1 May 1844; came to US in 1868; married Margreta Melius. Sent money to Germany to bring his brothers and sister to US. Lived near Houston. MN. Buried in South Ridge Cemetery next to United Methodist Church.

Henriette Boldt married George Melius. Lived between Dover and Elgin MN. Buried in Little Valley Cemetery.

Frederick Boldt. Lived near Houston. Also buried near Methodist Church on South Ridge - I am not sure if he is in the church cemetery or one within 2 miles of the church.

Reinhold Boldt born 5 May 1861.

According to the Hamburg passenger list, Herman Boldt said he was from Parlow. Parlow is a part of Martinthen Parish. I have not been able to find any Boldts in that parish yet. He may have worked there and been from a neighboring town.

Please E-mail me if you wan t any of the rest of the info I have on the family.
