In my family I have a Anna Maria Dorothea BOLDT, she was known as Dora. She came out to New Zealand about 1874 with her son. Henry John Joseph BOLDT. I have been trying to find out his father's name.
She later got re-married to Johann Christian Friedrich ROSE, and Henry got adopted to the Rose name.
