I am searching for information on the Boldings. This is what I have so far:
The Boldings are from Franklin County, Alabama {originally from VA, SC and TN}. They showed on the census for Franklin County in 1840.
Alexander Patton Bolding, born August 27, 1859. Married Arminda {Mindy} Caroline Lewis, born October 20, 1858. Her parents were John P. Lewis and Nancy Willis Lewis.
One of their children was Edgar Bolding, born May 1, 1902 and possibly died in January, 1937. He is the 8th child of Alexander and Mindy.
Edgar Bolding was married to Agnes Dearcie Ozbirn Bolding, who was born April 23, 1911--she is still living. Edgar died in January, 1937.
Edgar and Agnes "Dearcie" had 3 children: E. Junior, no birthdate known. Betty Bolding Moody, no birthdate known. Bobbie Sue Bolding Mills, born April, 1935 {?}. Willis Edgar Bolding, born August 31, 1937.
All of the children of Edgar and Agnes are alive. Willis Edgar Bolding is my father-in-law.
