I Henry Bain of Garland County Arkansas, who being duly sworn depose and say; I am the identical person who married Mary Boland, the daughter of John R. Boland in the year I think in 1838 in Dekalb County and the state of Tennessee. I do not know the father of John R. Boland, but have the names of the brothers of John R. Boland as Obia, James, and Mark Boland. He had one sister named Fannie, who married John Boles in South Carolina. The said Peter Bain is the son of Mary Boland and was born in the year 1842 and I am his father. I am 81 years of age and I have resided in Garland County about 18 years and still a citizen of Garland County
I must believe that "Obia" is actually Obadiah. I have never found Mark (Marcus?) and he may be using a different first name. I am uncertain at this time who the father was of John, but suspect it may be a John also.
