My gr. grandfather was James R. Bolding who was born in Tennessee in 1823 and whose wife was Susan C. Bolding (maiden name unknown). This may not be either of the James Boldings you mention as he moved with his parents to Alabama about 1835 so there would probably be no record of him in TN.
