This may answer some of your questions. If it says abt I got the info from the census which will only put the date close at times. WW Bolding was my GGGrandfather. Just do a search in Bolding for William, Arkansas, Mississippi, or Alabama and I think you will find a lot. Just a couple of generations before William the family name was Bolling, I do not know why the name change. I did not find all of the info I have posted but I have add to a lot of what I have and am sure that most of not all is correct back to 1850 when the census changed and listed everyones name. If a child was born and died between the census then I may not have them listed unless someone else had them or I could find them some other way. Hope this helps.

On 30 Apr 1818 when James Pleasants was 19, he married Elizabeth Gibson, in Pendleton, South Carolina. Born on 1 Jan 1797 in District 96, South Carolina. Elizabeth died in Chickasaw County, Mississippi on 14 Dec 1870, she was 73.
They had the following children:
i. James Pleasants. Born on 4 Mar 1819 in Pendleton, South Carolina.
ii. Franklin. Born on 29 Apr 1820 in Pendleton, South Carolina.
iii. Harrison S.. Born on 15 Apr 1822 in Franklin Co, Alabama. Harrison S. died in McNairy County, Tennessee on 28 Jan 1902, he was 79.
On 7 Feb 1842 when Harrison S. was 19, he married Minerva Weatherbee. Born on 12 Nov 1825. Minerva died on 31 Aug 1852, she was 26.

viii. Wesley Washington. Born on 26 Apr 1836 in Franklin Co, Alabama. Wesley Washington died in Chickasaw County, Mississippi on 16 May 1918, he was 82. Buried in Wesley Chapel, Chickasaw Co, Ms.
ix. Calvin Powhatan. Born on 26 Apr 1836 in Franklin Co, Alabama. Calvin Powhatan died in Pontotoc County, Mississippi on 3 Mar 1865, he was 28.
x. Marion Joseph. Born on 17 Jan 1839.
On 21 Nov 1866 when Marion Joseph was 27, he married Mary J Knight, in Pontotoc, Mississippi.
xi. Elizabeth Caroline. Born on 6 Nov 1842 in Franklin Co, Alabama. Elizabeth Caroline died in Chickasaw County, Mississippi on 26 Feb 1920, she was 77.

abt 1888 when William Wesley was 62, he fifth married Melvina A. Williams. Born in Oct 1859 in Missouri. Melvina A. died on 11 Dec 1911, she was 52.
