William Wesley Bolding had a plantation in Mississippi, but I am not sure which county. He, however, was born in Alabama as was Joseph T., my g-grandfather. At the moment I can't rememer his first wife'w name. We never knew his 3,4, and 5 wives names. according to my mother, Lucy Rodden, "he buried 3 wives and divorced one." That's all I know. Hope someday to be able to travel to Mississippi and do some sleuthing in the county and church records. John Arthur, my g-grandfather was born in AL. His brother who was still living in Rocky, OK when I was first grown, Jeff Bolding, Probably named for the President of the Confederacy Jefferson Davis Bolding, married Sarah, her maiden name escapes me now, but I think they are buried in the Lone Star Cemetery at Rocky. I know that John Arthur and his second wife are buried there, along with other children of his. There are several people posting here that are decended from the same Wm Wesley Bolding family.
