Where I found William and Mary getting married in Tuscaloosa Co. was on the web someplace. I just started doing research in Sept. am still learning. After doing some checking myself I would think that they would most likely have gotten married in Franklin Co, Al. Both parents lived there and William also bought land ther in 1850 after they got married. I have seen that their oldest son John was born in Tuacaloosa, Al on June 22, 1849. I do not know if they lived there for a short time or were just visiting someone at the time.
