Thanks for the name of the book. Do you still live in Okla City? Have you been to the library in Muskogee? They have the census for Oklahoma/Indian Territories 1900,1910 & 1920. Also the newspaper files for 1876 and city directories from 1903. I had written to them trying to get a copy of the Dawes rolls , 1896-1914. for my husbands great grandfather and haven't received an answer yet. Might be able to locate our Cherokee heritage? They also have funeral home listings.

Yes, I had written to Aunt Geneva and sent her a copy of the cemetery listings for Lone Star Cemetery with the listing of Harvy, Lottie and baby and she misplaced it so will have to send it again. I was wondering who they were--since the name of Lottie was her mom's nickname I thought perhaps she might have had other children--but felt that we would have heard about it if she had. Will send it again. I have pictures of most of the tombstones, would like to have pictures of those also. I understand that they have a very good library there in Cordell, Washita County Museum? where they have all the old newspapers and etc. I would be interested in any information that you find.
