I have some confirmation of some of your information and can correct some which is awry.

The latter three, Patrick, Bridget and Michael were indeed siblings (perhaps the first also, but I cannot confirm that). Bridget was my grGrandmother, and was married to James Henry in LaSalle, IL on 8 Feb., 1863.

Here are the three Boland siblings' marriage records as recorded at St. Patrick's Church in LaSalle, IL:

"Sept. 11, 1859. I the undersigned united in matrimony Pat Boland, son of Peter Boland and Ellen Kelly, and Mary Delany, daughter of Thos. Delany and Catherine Mahony. Witnesses were Ann Kelly and Paul Gahan. Charles Jos. Bechener, C.M."

"November 18, 1859. I the undersigned united in matrimony Michael Bolan, son of Peter Boland and Ellen Kelly & Mary McCarty, daughter of James McCarty and Bridget Dunn. Witnesses were Michael McCarty and Bridget Bolen. M. Anthony, C.M."

"February 8, 1863. I the undersigned united in marriage James Henry, son of William Henry and Margaret Ryan to Bridget Bolen, daughter of Peter Bolen and Ellen Kelly. Witnesses: Michael Delany and Ann Bolen. H.V. Kalmer"

I feel the Boland Family of Peru might be related, and might be the reason these Bolands settled in the area after coming to the US, but the Bridget Boland who married Dennis Manning is of a different immediate family. It is possible that it is her daughter Ann which was the witness to my grGrandparents' wedding.

I have a copy of the page from the records of the church in Lemanaghan, County Offaly (was King's County), Ireland (Ballinahowen Parish) which shows Bridget being born of Peter Boland and Ellen Kelly on 15 March, 1840. The sponsors were James Boland and Mary Kelly.

Bridget Boland died and was buried in Fairfax, IA 8 April, 1875. In the Federal Census for 1880, you will find Patrick Boland and family living on the farm adjacent to James Henry & his family. His wife, Birdget had already passed on at that date.

Somewhere I think I have the birth records of the siblings from Ireland, but I couldn't put my hands on it tonight.

I would be very interested in getting a copy of the photo you mentioned.

If you have any information regarding the parents of these siblings, that would be appreciated (Peter & Ellen (Kelly)Boland. I haven't been able to determine that either of them made the trip to the US, and did some searching when in Ireland, but could find no grave markers there.

Thanks for writing & I hope this is of interest. Please email me soon and I will see if I can put together any other information.
