Hi, all. I am looking for any connections with Adolphus Boisvert.
Adolphus Boisvert b. 1848 Canada (Quebec) married Sophia Newell (Noel) b. 1851. My uncle told me she was apparently the camp cook in a logging camp in St. Johnsbury, VT. They had Jennie M. Greenwood b. 1872, Jeddie Greenwood b. 31 Aug 1873 (per WW1 draft card), Adolphus Greenwood b. 14 July 1875 and Willie Greenwood b. 1877 according to the 1880 Bath, NH census records.
Adolphus Boisvert b. 1875 NH married Mary Jane Paradis/Paradie b. 1882 in VT (both of whom I have family pictures). They lived on a farm in Bath, NH and in Haverhill, NH. They had many children as seen in the 1920 census of St. Johnsbury, VT.

I am stuck on Adolphus Boisvert Sr's parents. I know he was born in Canada (I have heard Stanstead) but I'm not sure where. My dad is going to do a Y-DNA genealogy test for me to see if we get any matches. They can tell you, among other things, if you have any Native American Ancestry, where in Europe your relatives came from (Boisvert must be French), and can give you matches with others that have taken the test. I am going to use http://www.familytreedna.com/default.asp
If this line rings any bells with anyone please contact me!
