His father was Jean Baptiste Boisvert born 19 May 1762 in St. Joseph de Chambly, Rouville, Quebec, Canada. His mother was Louise Godin. I do not have any info on her at the moment for vitals. I lost that when I got a new HD this past winter and the backup was messed up. I lost some info and I need to put it all back in. They were married January 09, 1792 in St. Marguerite de Blaufindle, L'Acadie, Quebec, Canada. As far as I know, there were only two children, Amable and Jacques. Amable was born abt. 1822. He married Zoe Brosseau on 7 Feb. 1842 at Mont St. Gregoire, Iberville, Quebec, Canada. I had the 1881 census but that is missing now too. Amable and Zoe had 13 children - Marie, Aurelie, Sophie, Abraham, Jean Baptiste, Joseph, Pierre, Mederise, Gregoire, Elmire, Mathilda, Napoleon and Julien. Mathilda is my gr. grandmother. She married Henri Cote.

If there is any more info I can give, let me know. I sure would like to find where Amable died. It is more for my mother who is going on 84. I do not have any documents in Canada on Amable including marriage. The info I have on him is from my mother and what she could find in Tanguay and some research in Canada but she never got documents or documented any of her data. She went up to Canada years ago to try and find him but it was difficult trying to do that before computers plus she did not really know what she was doing when it came to genealogy.
