Hi Dominique!

I noticed your post after I added mine. Do you think it's possible we're looking for the same Louis Boisvert? I believe my Louis might also have come from Montreal.

A copy of what I posted is below.

Hi!

I am looking for ANY information on my great grandfather Louis Boisvert. He was married to Eva DuBois, and they came to the U.S.(Brattleboro, VT) from Quebec probably between 1890 and 1910. They had 7 children: Lionel, Ernest, Eli, Arthur, Loretta, Florence, and Melvina. Most of these settled in MA and NH. Lionel is my grandfather.

I also believe that I have a 100% Iroquois ancester, probably Louis's grandfather, who probably was given the name "Boisvert" during a time when many Iroquois were converted to Christianity.

Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!

Michelle
