I am also researching family history and have come across your posting. My grandfather's name was Edward Boissel and he had 2 brothers, one I believe was called Clarry. I have found a record in the 1901 census of a family living in Guernsey which I feel is correct because the birthdate of Edward is the same as my grandfather's. His father was called Louis Boissel and he came from France, but his birthdate is 1878 so I'm not sure if it is the same one. He as married to Susan and his eldest son was Francois.
My mothers name is Jean and she has sisters called Pat and Sue (although Sue's proper name was Lilian). She also had a brother John.
I would be very pleased to hear from you if you feel there may be some connection.
