Joseph Boisselle and Perpetue Roy were my Great Great Great Grandparents on my mother's side. The information I have on them is courtesy of La Societe Historique de Saint-Boniface, 340 Boulevard Provencher, St-Boniface, Manitoba R2H 0G7. You can write to them and receive information on your direct ancestors. The cost is about $50 Cdn. Unfortunately, it does not list children. Joseph and Perpetue were married 1841-09-21 in St-Gervais de Bellechasse, Quebec. I have their children's names and some birth dates courtesy of my Uncle Eugene Boisselle: Marie Angnes 1851, Antoine 1855, Joseph 11 May 1855, Henedine 1857, Delima 1858, Francois Xavier 15 October 1860 (my great great grandfather), Marie Malvina, Perpetue, Marie Anne, Rosalie, Protais 1862, Gervais 1862, Eugenie 1864, Jean-Charles 1866, Valentine 17 November 1868.
Joseph's father was Antoine Boisselle. He married three times: 1. 1794-07-29 in St-Charles de Bellechasse Quebec to Marguerite Roy. 2. 1799-06-24 in St-Gervais de Bellechasse Quebec to Marie Charlotte Vallier. 3. 181302-02 in St-Charles de Bellechasse Quebec to Marie Jeanne Gontier who I believe was Joseph's mother. Antoine was her first husband. Her second marriage was to Jean-Baptiste Monmeny. I have no date for that marriage.
Perpetue's parents were Laurent Roy and Marie Baquet-Lamontagne. They were married 1821-10-09 in St-Vallier Quebec.
I am interested in any old pictures you may have of any Boisselles who are my ancestors.
