My information comes from an article published in The Harrodsburg Hearald, Sept. 14, 1972 entitled "Bohon Family Was One Of First in Harrodsburg. The article was submitted by the Harrodsburg Historical Society Genealogical Committee, Rebecca W. Conover and Alma Ray Ison, co-chairmen.

It states that John Bohon, son of Benjamin Sr. and Ann was born Dec. 25, 1756 in Orange Co., VA and married to Sarah Ransdale, daughter of William, in Orange Co., VA in 1781.
