Walter Bohon was born Oct. 28, 1762 in Orange Co., VA, d. Aug. 1828 and was married to Judith Threlkeld on Jan. 3, 1783 in VA. Walter was the son of Benjamin Andrew Bohon and Ann (last name unknown). Walter and Judith had 9 children:
1. Nancy, b. 1784, m. Zachariah Ransdell
2. John, b. 1785, d. 1861, m. Martha Lightfoot
3. Matt William, b. 1787, d. 1866, m. Nancy Sanford
4. Peggy, b. 1788, m. Feilding Ransdell
5. Hannah, m. Samuel McAfee
6. Mary, b. 1794, m. Isaac Gray
7. Joseph, b. 1790, m. Mary McGruder
8. George, b. 1797, d. 1870, m. Anna Woods
9. Susan, m. Richard Bradbourn
I don't have any record of Bohon-Shields connection; however, lots of Bohon married Ransdell.
