10. Foxall Ransdell, b. 30 Oct. 1777, d. 15 Sept. 1839, m. 13 Apr. 1802, Mercer Co., Ky., Elizabeth Bohon, dau. of Benjamin Bohon Jr. and Sarah Threlkeld. Foxall is bur. in a family cemetery in Shelby Co., but they apparently lived in Henry Co. There are also Threlkelds and Smiths in this graveyard. He is probably the one who m. secondly in Henry Co. on 29 Sept. 1829 Susannah Dowden. He states in his will that there were six children, whom he did not mention by name. The order of birth of his children is not known, but Susan Ransdell's will of August 1859 names Clarissa Jones, Melissa Knight, and Martha Ransdell, none of whom are mentioned by Foxall. This family requires extensive further study. Information on this family is from William K. Ransdell, Louisville, Ky. Elizabeth Bohon Ransdell was deceased by the time her father Benjamin Bohon wrote his will in 1825. Mercer Co. Deed Book 25, p. 397 records a conveyance of 50 acres (Foxall's allotment of father William's land) to John Ransdell. All those listed below signed the deed.

b. Mary Ransdell m. James Vanarsdale. Named in her father's will as Mary Ransdell. A Mary Ransdell m. 12 March 1840, Mercer Co., Ky., James Vanarsdale.
c. Elizabeth Ransdell m. 8 Mar. 1841, Mercer Co., Ky., Andrew Parrish. They appear in the 1850-1870 censuses of Mercer Co., which indicate that she was b. ca. 1818-20 and he ca. 1812-14. Not named in her father's will.

(2) Buena Vista Parrish (f), b. ca. 1848-49.
(3) Merell W. Parrish, b. ca. 1851.
(4) Elizabeth Parrish, b. ca. 1854.
d. Melissa/MalindaMatilda Ransdell m. 6 July 1843, Henry Co., Ky., Nathaniel Knight. Not named in her father's will.
e. Clarisse Ransdell m. 20 Jan. 1845 (bond), Henry Co., Ky., George W. Jones. Nathaniel Dowden Jr. signed consent for this marriage. He was Foxall Ransdell's brother-in-law, according to Foxall's will. Named in her mother's will but not her father's.
f. Nancy Ransdell m. 30 Dec. 1835 (bond), Henry Co., Ky., Solomon Tingle. Named in her father's will.
g. Fanny Ransdell m. 2 Feb. 1829, Henry Co., Ky., Gabriel Meadows, b. ca. 1795, d. 4 Sept. 1848. Named in her father's will.
(1) Jeremiah Meadows, b. 28 July 1841, d. 31 Aug. 1884, m. 1867, Rhoda Threlkeld, b. 1 June 1849, d. 1922.
h. Martha Ransdell. Named in Susan Ransdell's will.
i. George F. Ransdell. Possibly the one bur. in the same Shelby Co. cem. as Foxall. He was b. 13 Nov. 1827, d. 13 May 1855, but he could be of a later generation. He was living in the household of Susan Ransdell in the 1850 census of Henry Co.
