Duffy Bohon is buried in the Burnt Meeting House Cemetery in Morgantown,WV. The following is from a obituary from the Dominion Post newspaper on Dec 31, 2000: Thomas Bohon(e) Thomas E. "Gene" Bohone, 75, of Nutter Fort, died Thursday Dec. 28, 2000 at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg WV. He was born August 3, 1925 in Morgantown, son of the late Duffy B. and Mattie Moore Bohon. He was a brick and stone mason, who did masonry and stone work on a number of facilities throughout Harrison Co. and the region, including Clarksburg's United Methodist Church on Chestnut St. and Watters Smith State Park. He was awarded the Purple Heart while serving with the U.S. Marines in WW2. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was Protestant. He is survived by his wife Larna S. Bohone; three sons and spouses, Peter V. Liston, Robert J and Mary Ann Liston, all of Clarksburg and Thomas E. Jr. and Mary Catherine Bohone of Parkersburg; a daughter and spouse, Brenda J. Liston and Terry Hotsinpiller, of Bridgeport: a brother, Duffy Bohon Jr.; five grandchildren, Christina Richards, Sabrina Rhodes, Heather Jean Powers, Gene Bohone and Jessica Bohone. Five step-grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers William Bohon and Harry J. Bohon Burial will be in the West Virginia National Cemetery at Pruntytown with full military honors. Contact me if there is anything else I can do.
