We have new information from the 1850 Tonawanda NY census on the Knab and Bohn families who came to New York from Oberbruch and Moos, Baden, Germany.

The 1850 Tonawanda NY census info lists Basil BOHN, age 67.

Listed here is Martin Knab's wife, now a widow, Maria Anna (BOHN) Knab.

"Anthony Knapp" is our ancestor- Aegidius Knab.

"Barzilla Bone" is actually Basil BOHN, who is Maria Anna's brother.

This is new info for us, that Maria Anna Bohn's brother also came to NY.

Listed in the Vimbuch Seelbuch- Basilius Bohn was born June 16, 1784. He is the 6th child of Michel Bohn and Anna Maria Lienhart. Maria Anna, Martin Knab's wife, is the 11th and last child. The family lived in Oberbruch.

Michel Bohn, b. 1747 is a brother to Joseph Bohn, born 1729 of Oberbruch.
