On the other Ohio records you mention:
John BOONE, who married Abigail LES on 24 Feb 1833. This is my wife's line. John BOON and Abigail moved to Wabash Co, IN; where they are listed in the 1840 and 1850 censuses.
The family then moved to Harris Co, TX and there is a very interesting letter that he wrote from TX to his brother Samuel BOON, who was still in Indiana. It was published in Wabash Weekly Intelligencer, May 17, 1854. In it he describes having to kill a man on his property.
John BOON died in Harris Co, TX in 1856.
