As a descendant of Abraham Bohn/Boone, I have researched his father Jacob, who married Catrin who d. 1822. They has 12 ch., Mary, Peter, Jacob, Abraham b. 1779 m. 1807 Mary Ehrman; went with Jacob to found Boone Mill in Franklin Co.,VA; Elizabeth, John, Catherine, Isaac, Susanna m. Dan'l Noftsinger 1807, Daniel, Nancy, Joseph. Abraham & family moved to Montgomery Co., OH. Abr. died there and I have a copy of Catrin's Will also.
Is this the right Abraham and Jacob? This information (in part) is from the book, "The German Bohne-Bohn-Boon-Boone Family of Maryland" by Nellie Woods Whedon.

The Boone families can be confusing, don't you think?
