Floyd - thank you for the dates. I too have Hannah SCHMIDT as Richard's wife. His parents are listed on the South Dakota Birth Records site as Ferdinand BOHN and Henrietta JANN. Richard & Hannah's daughter married Virgil SAHR, b. 13 July 1908 and died July 1984. As she is still living, I prefer not to give any information about her.
I also have a Siegfried BOHN - is he brother to Richard? He and Henrietta SCHULTZ (according to SD Birth Records)had daughter Elsie Lydia BOHN b. 20 Apr 1898 Grant Co., SD and died 28 Oct 1989 Milbank, Grant Co., SD. Elsie married abt 1919 Ervin Carl TRAPP b. 8 Oct 1897, died Oct 1973.
The TRAPP family married into the SAHR family also. I think many of these German families came from the same area of Prussia - East Prussia. The Sahr family is from Deetz, Kreis Soldin, which is now in Poland. I don't know where the BOHN family came from.
