My great-great grandparents, Edward and Wilhelmina (Hoppe) Bohn came to the U.S. in 1881, settling in Chicago. They had 8 children:
Herman (1857-1919)
Bertha (1858-1923)
Emily (1860-1910)
Albert (? - after 1936)
August (1865-1936)
Julius (1867-1935)
Mary (1869-1945)
Anna (1872-1951)
In 1892, August Bohn bought a farm in Merrill (Saginaw County) Michigan and his parents came with him. Eventually all of his brothers and sisters joined him in the Hemlock/Merrill area except for Albert, and Emily (Emily married William Dittman), who stayed in Chicago. Does anyone possibly have any information on any of these Bohns?
