I believe that Johanne Jacob Bohne(Boon)-- born in Germany in 1730 and died in Guilford County NC in 1796-- May be related to the family you are researching.
My Jacob Bohne came to Philadelpia in 1742. His wife by the time he lived in Orange County Virginia was named Catherine and was from Frederick County,MD.last name unknown. The family spelling by then was Boon. My Jacob bought land in Rowan County NC two months after the Jacob in your family sold land in Virginia. I think this is the same fellow but do not know my Jacob's father's name to tie together. Also, my Jacob is closely related to Baltzer Boon and his widow Mary who also moved from Virginia to North Carolina.
Any clues from your lines would be appreciated.
