Listed in the 1830 Census of Hardeman Co., TN is the following:
Bohannon, William 0100000001 - 0
& next door:
Bohannon, Edmond 120001 - 11001
These are not listed in the 1840 Census, however there are still Bohannons in Hardeman co. I have not yet been able to connect them with my gg-grandmother, Judith Bohannon Welch. Isaac and Judith Welch moved to Hardeman Co., ca 1833. Could this William be her brother and your ancestor?
